Alysé's heart swelled with pride and satisfaction at the zeal shown by her team. However, it began aching when Ryan opted for the same. He had decided to volunteer as a caregiver for the covid patients.
Alysé was alarmed and wished to detain him. "I need you here. Someone needs to monitor the backend operations as well." She argued.
"I am sure you can handle that all by yourself." He said while sipping his coffee.
"But I can't. I need a backup." She argued.
"You have Kian for that. You can seek his guidance. I am sure he will be a better guide to you than me."
"Why do you always push me to him. Aren't you jealous? Don't you fear he will whisk me away?"
"We are in a lockdown…where can he take you?" Ryan quipped.
Alysé was annoyed and scared. She rose in anger and was about to go when he arrested her and pulled her to him. She fell on his lap and he locked his arms around her.
