Victor returned home from the restaurant with a happy heart. He had met René and hugged her and kissed her and re-affirmed his love and was over the moon.
And now it was time to enact the second part of his plan. He returned home with a purpose and was met by his family. His parents welcomed him with much affection. His mother hugged him and his father nodded at him, this was as much affection he could show.
"How was your trip? Was the food according to your taste? Was the accommodation comfortable? Were the people around you good?" – mother's heart had many questions.
He replied to them all with patience even though he was thoroughly exhausted.
And then, she said – "You must be tired."
Victor nodded and she said, "Go then, take rest and come fresh for the dinner party tonight. Father has invited all our friends and family."
"Certainly," Victor replied. He knew his father had prepared a trap for him. He was ready for it.
