"Actually, Miss Yden Torrente, all your tests were out, and everything was fine. There's nothing to worry about. In fact, I can actually permit you to go home." The doctor smiled again, and with a few chit-chats and reminders, she went out of the room.
"Okay, Yden, you need to wait for me here, and I will go process the bills. I said, don't go out yet. For sure you don't want trouble with the guards. So wait for the papers okay?" John enthusiastically said, he was happy at least Yden answered him with a nod.
John came back with the papers and handed them to Yden. She stood up as soon as the papers were in her hand and ambled straight to the door. She wasn't expecting John to follow her, but it seemed that he did.
She stopped as soon as she noticed. She turned around towards him and took a deep breath.
How can she forget saying thank you to him, she realized.
