Yden tried to shake off her bad thoughts, and she said, "I think we should go on with the next question."
"Okay, I have another question," Zara said. "How about we ask something we wanted to ask, but we were afraid to ask?"
Yden looked at Zara. She was surprised. 'What kind of question was that? The kind of question that you will not know the answer to?' She thought.
"I think we should ask something that we were too afraid to ask, but we need to know it, right?" Dennise said.
Dennise was the one who had an idea for the next question, and she was right. It's a question that they were afraid to ask.
"Okay, okay, I have an idea," Leira said. The girls gathered together, and they were whispering again. Yden was confused, but she knew they were trying to figure out the best question to ask.
She was trying to guess what the question would be.
"Okay, here's the question," Dennise said.
"What's the worst thing that you've ever done to someone?"
It was the question that they were afraid to ask, but they were also curious.
There was a deep silence for at least five seconds.
"I think it's your turn Yden, you will answer the question first," Leira said, trying to break the tension.
"Okay, I don't have that kind of question to answer. I don't have any bad memories," Yden said, hoping that they will drop the subject.
"Come on, you can tell us. We won't judge you. We are all your friends," Leira said, as she was starting to get impatient.
"Okay, well, I don't really have an answer for such a question. I'm actually a cheerful person," Yden said, trying to hide her feelings. She knew that she would not get away with it.
Leira was confused, and she said, "What do you mean by cheerful? You're so quiet when we ask you something. You always give a faint smile and nod your head, but then there's no answer."
"Yeah, we don't know what's inside your mind. But then you looked like there's actually a lot of things that were in there. I sometimes notice you, stuck in your thoughts while staring at a faraway place." Ella said worriedly. "Yden, if there's actually something that was bothering you, I hope you know that you can share that with us. We will be your friend, and we are here waiting and willing to know you and accept you for what you are." Ella, held her hand as she sighed. "I hope you know that, and girls, I hope from now on we can start to be sisters outside, sisterhood. That hopefully, we were not only bound because of the sorority rather but we are also bonded by heart. You were the first group of friends I had in this new community. May you all know that I will cherish you forever."
The rest of the girls couldn't help but be touched by Ella's little speech and had themselves a group hug.
However, Yden, on the other hand, felt different. Her heart beats fast like a guilty suspect on someone's murder. However, she tried to ignore it, the more she felt more guilty for not telling everyone about her life.
This is the first time that she felt the need to be truthful to them. The connection she had with these girls is different from the rest she never had something like this before. She wanted to trust them, but instead of being more confident. She was scared that she might lose them. She feared that to happen again.
So instead of telling the truth to her new friends, she decided to keep them. She decided to keep her secret, a secret. She didn't know how long it would take for her to keep it, but she's willing nevertheless as long as she won't lose these girls again. It felt good to belong. She never felt that for a long time.
"How about another hotter question, guys, but I know some of you here are virgins, sorry let me ask permission from you. Are you open to a more mature topic? Like talking about sex or something?" Dennise asked.
Liera twitched her lips for a smile. She was a virgin herself. She never tried a man. That's also because she never wanted to, she didn't feel the need to be with a guy, and as of that moment, she only needed Dennise. She was curious about how hot Dennise could be. Even though her favorite topic is always something hot, she is bold and fearless. She never was ashamed and never was demure, and she liked her that way.
Leira also noticed Ella blushed. Of course, she knew it. Ella was a virgin and Yden too since she was blushing even more. The other one who looked excited and dreamy with that topic was Zara, like her eyes glistened with excitement.
"Well, I'm game," Leira said. "And Yden?"
"I don't think it would be a good idea," Yden said.
"But why?," Zara asked.
"I don't know why. It's just like that," Yden said.
The girls were confused with her answer, but after hearing what Yden had to say, they knew that she wasn't ready to talk about it yet, or maybe she was just so conservative for something like that. Since she grew up in the province and a farmer's parents, sure, her mind was never tinted with stuff like that.
"Okay, maybe we will just have to find another topic this time if not everyone around here is comfortable. Me too isn't that comfortable but, I can take it. Let's just respect someone if they don't want their innocence to be tinted." Ella tried to explain Yden's situation. She was worried that the rest of the girls wouldn't like it but she knew that Yden was feeling awkward with that topic and she didn't want her to feel that way.
