They decide to search for the man and trap him on the next new year Eve moment in the park. This prooves unsuccessful though, as the man, eventually found, stalls. The bomb goes off, making the two of them look dumb. They learn from this and Mercedes begins to plot more devious and extreme plans to try and prevent the explosion, having at the back of her mind that she's been dead anyway.
Yvonne gets more intense training from Mercedes as she develops her abilities and potential, most of which come with side effects of painful migraines.
Tension brews between brother and sister as Clement begins to think Yvonne doesn't have time for him, and Yvonne, already under intense pressure and stress, can't keep the situation under control. But she simply doesn't have time.
