Gloria got home late in the afternoon, with the rain still pouring heavily. The clouds were still heavy and dark, making the day look few hours older. Gloria lived in a small bungalow in an isolated neighbourhood with her daughter and for almost two weeks now with Iris.
She got down first from the car after opening her black umbrella and opened the door for Paula to enter under the umbrella. Gloria led her to the doorstep and opened the door for her to enter. She then came for Iris and both of them entered the house together.
Iris felt the changes from the warmth in aunt Gloria's car thanks to the heat system to the cold of the rain and then the gentle warmth again in the house. Paula had already gone to the room to change. She wasn't going to miss her TV show which would air in a few minutes.
Gloria took Iris to her room and began undressing her. She then sat her down to talk to her.
