"So basically you've been studying me for four whole months, and even followed me way back to San Antonio when I was on holiday. That really is creepy. I'm even more surprised I didn't notice."

Moirai and Imogen had been talking for fifteen minutes since they finished their meal. The dining hall was already clearing up, with most of the other children going to do other things.
"I'd say you're sneaky. You really could have just come up to me and told me your real intentions you know, I wouldn't bite."
"Well…I don't trust girls, especially the reserved types too much."
"For one so popular I find that hard to believe. I bet the pink haired girl is even more reserved than I am. Imogen seems to the cheerful boss lady."
"And just like that you misread them…mostly Imogen. Agreed Yui is really reserved but she's been here since she was a baby, I met her here. Imogen has only been here about two years and is supremely gifted, like other top tier magicals including me and Yui, no jokes. Thing is, not much is known of her, and she herself claims not to remember much of her past life. She was discovered by a scout team in a desert, with a bleeding head. Really don't know what went down."
"And you think she's not being totally truthful?" Yvonne asked Moirai. Moirai took a sip of water, relaxed his back on his chair and sighed.
"I always have this hunch when I feel something suspicious, and Imogen gives alot of that air. Not to mention, she doesn't really like me much."
Yvonne chuckled.
"I'm pretty sure that's just your delusional perception. She seems rather protective. Which reminds me, what's that animal that looks like a fox Cheryl was carrying?"
"Oh that…that's Yui's. Don't know what breed it is though, but master Gabi said it came along with Yui when he found her about nineteen years ago now. He said it's an ancient magical creature. He believes Yui was sent here from the past. Xyelia only confides in Yui so won't tell anyone where they came from. Atleast their powers are real useful."
"The animal has powers?" Yvonne asked with a surprised look.
"Better not call Xyelia an animal or you'll get some. And yes, she's quite powerful. Same with Yui."
"Aah!"
Yvonne stood up from the chair and stretched out.
"Well, your old master wanted to discuss with me personally after lunch. Better catch up with him. Looks like he's got more stuff to tell me than you have Moirai. I'll catch up to you later."
"Okay then. See ya!"
Yvonne then left the dining hall and headed towards its entrance, where master Gabi was waiting.
