Little Mara watched as the drop of her blood entered their foreheads.
Golden light enveloped them. Slowly entering their foreheads, integrating it into their skulls.
The pain they felt lasted only a second.
Opening their eyes, the gray color intensified, and a golden light passed through them. In a few seconds, it disappeared, and they all fell to the ground.

When little Mara saw them like that, the sudden situation shocked her.
Looking directly at Elder Taros, she felt he might know something about it. And he did not disappoint her.
"You can feel their breath, close your eyes and concentrate on them, you'll know what's going on."
Calming her emotions, little Mara did as the Elder suggested.
She closed her eyes and cleared her mind of any thoughts. In doing so, she entered a state of tranquility. The same state she read about in one book in the library.
