Chapter 10 - Divine Forest

Divine Forest: The realm of phoenixes

A place where the Goddesses of Healing, Rejuvenation, Reincarnation, Rebirth, Nirvana live.

A place where phoenixes were born and raised, till they earned their powers, through a very hard process of learning, to explore the universe, the galaxies, the planets in it. Just like the birth of the first Phoenix, which was very strange, the same thing was happening again.

When the firebird first gained sentience, the first thing it saw was great flames. Flames that threatened to swallow the entire world. However, those flames soon condensed and the Phoenix laid its eyes on the Beautiful Green Forest that would become its home.

In the Divine Forest, the Phoenix could display their greatest strength and revive. As long as their injured spirit could return to the Divine Forest, they could revive back to their full health. Or reincarnate into a new little young bird. With the help of their birdy side and the powerful magical remnants that this place possesses.

It was a pity that even after possessing such a Divine Ability, the Phoenix Race still faced near extermination under the hands of their enemies.

Currently, Prithvi and Aelin were sitting on the topmost branch of the Biloba tree, the tree which was the combination of fire, earth, and water.. which represented life... and the tallest tree of the Divine Forest, which acted as a barrier against the Universe and The Phoenix Realm .

All thanks to Aelin, Prithvi was mostly habitual to sneaking in and out of this Tree, whose roots lie all the way to the bottom of hell, while its top branches lie as high as… to the limits of Heavens.

This very tree was the guard of homes and secrets of the Phoenix Species. And except for the Phoenixes, no one was allowed to enter it. But all thanks to the mischievous, law-breaking, carefree, and life-joying Aelin Westfall of the Royal Clan.

He was given the sneaking pass. And he never even cared about getting the official Pass. As he was more than happy to stay with Aelin at that time, like a thief, rather than coming to this place as an official.

So, back to the time. When they saw the newborn, he asked, "What's your opinion about the Name Making Ceremony of this Youngie?"

And she was like, "Hah! It would be either Kavya or Aelin or Maria. After all, only these names are the best names of this World. See, I am The Great Lady Aelin Westfall. My Mother is The Great Lady Kavya Westfall. And my Grandmother is The Great Lady Maria Westfall."

"So, aren't these the most amazing names in the World?" And then she winked at him while placing her arm on his shoulder, just like two warriors in the war.

She has never ever taken him seriously. Not even once. Sigh.

~~ End of the flashback

And automatically, a smile appeared on his already ethereal, handsome face… making it a 'Once In a Blue Moon Sight'... the highly rare occurrence.

Well, the Earthlings were going to see the Blue Moon tonight. After all, Moon reflected his emotions too. When he was angry, it was a red moon. When he was happy, it was a blue moon.

When he was lazy, it was a yellow moon. When he was him, then it was a white, bright, full moon. As for the other half and little moons, they are handled by his subordinates.

Aelin listened to him in a daze, and she couldn't help but guess. Did she crack any joke? What on earth did he mean by, he guessed?

Was it that easy to guess people's names? Then why doesn't she know about this?  Well, she definitely missed the most enthralling smile in the World.

She still couldn't guess who he was. To say nothing about his name. Yet, the guy was already making rough guesses about her.

"So, if it's not among them. Then, what's your name, Miss?" And for the first time in his millennial life, he used politeness and human language. After all, no one refers to each other as Lad, Lass, Master, Mistress, Miss, and things or titles like that.

They call each other with either the code or their position. Just like she is Lady Westfall. The Phoenix Goddess.

" I.. umm... Actually, you guessed right. I am Aelin. Aelin Kim. The heiress of the Kim family." She introduced herself.

( I can't believe none of them are removing from each other's embrace. As if they have been glued to each other. Fine, Prithvi's actions are little justified. He loves her. But, what about Aelin? Can't she recognize the problem, either  -_- -_- -_- )

Oh! Aelin Kim? Kim Family? An Earthling! Then, he realized, he really has to work hard for her. And his determination to help her recover from her trauma (or whatsoever it was) while helping her bring back her memories increased more.

"Hi. I am Prithvi Raj. Nice to meet you too, Aelin Kim." And he replied humanically.

"Mr. Raj. Where is this place, and why am I here?" Aelin asked next, her eyes wandering around the place, in a questioning manner. [ This girl still hasn't realized the problem. -_-]

"Aelin, call me Prithvi, okay. No need to be formal with me. And this place is … umm… you see… you got caught into the accident…  you were severely injured. So, I brought you here… umm... You can call it a hospital, in a sense, too." Prithvi tried. He really didn't want to scare her with the Heaven and Earth principle at the moment.

"So, this is a private hospital. Thank you so much for saving my life, P-Prithvi. What a unique name." She replied back. Knowing for sure, this was the first time she was meeting this unique face, unique name guy, in her life.

Although she had lots of questions, at least now she knows she was alive and fine. Maybe very soon she could meet her family, too.

After all, her parents must have been worried sick for her.

Prithvi, who definitely wasn't a gentleman, to begin with, for the first time acted gentlemanly and released her from his embrace. Well, if possible, then he could stay in her embrace forever.

But the problem is, he can't lie. And suppose she asked another question or any question about anything or anyone. In that case, even The Great Three Holy Divinities can't save him from his doom.

So, before she threw any question in his direction, he wanted to sneak away. But he doesn't want to leave her all alone, either. Here comes, The Great Deity Prithvi's First Dilemma. Only if he could lie, without batting his eyes, like Earthlings.

And for the first time, the great Deity of Heaven envied Humans of Earth for their white lying ability.

~~

He simply summoned his most trusted subordinate, his right hand. Vayu. The God of Wind. Only he knew the story of Aelin and Prithvi. Not the complete story, though. But despite that, even he didn't have the guts to utter a word in front of His Great  Deitiness.

He was the one who handled all the matters and information related to that mischievous Phoenix Goddess. And he just came back after receiving his punishment. 50,000 whiplashes from the fire whip.

[ Since, he failed to inform The Great Deity about the Phoenix's latest updates. As well as her fight with 'Akshura', not to mention the injury part.]

Well, as the Air he can still control the fire, but just a little bit. And now his back was the tangled mess of air and fire, beneath all the clothes. [ They are not humans. So, they can't possibly have flesh or blood.]

[Since, he is Wind God. So, his soul is composed of Element Air Only.]

But despite all, here he was standing with his back straight head high, in The Grand Hall of Throne. He was currently facing His Great Deitiness. Awaiting Prithvi's orders, who seem to be a bit uneasy, the most subtle action, which even his subordinates can't point out... After all, Prithvi had left her alone in the barrage. Vayu, who waited and waited, only heard; " Summon her."
