Su Liya and Lu Yaozhu always adhered to the traditions of the Lu family even after moving out. They always joined the family for dinner twice a week and sometimes stayed overnight in their former courtyard. Apart from the weekly dinner, they always paid respects to madam Lu once a week. Lu Yaozhu often had pressing issues at work and was held back, Su Liya often visited madam Lu and Zhu Fengyin alone.
