It took us three days straight for us to cross the mountain. We encountered several setbacks, such as traps and countless monsters — strong and weak — on our way. Of course, some knights were injured, but because of His Majesty and Darius, none died, thankfully.
"Did you find anymore living in the area?" Luis asked as soon as Darius returned to our base camp near the main northern town.
The main northern town had fallen far worse than expected. Aside from the heavy snow, there were too many monsters lingering. Not to mention, the dark mist covering the entire northern town.
I could not help but shudder at the thought that could've happened if we didn't go by ourselves. The route was already tough and with all those problems present, the hopes of return was near impossible.
