I must admit that Augustus' last remarks lingered in my head that would constantly resurface in my mind. Why would he spew something so ambiguous? It was not like it was out of his character, but it bothered me. If not because of today's event, I would've bothered Augustus with his lame riddles.
"My lady, you're so pretty!" Tani's eyes glimmered while clasping her hands together. "I'm certain when the Grand Duke sees you, he will lose all reason!"

I looked at myself in the mirror, gazing at my exposed legs. The nightdress I was currently wearing made me think that the seamstress lacked in fabric. It was my first to wear such revealing clothing; with only a thin strap over my shoulders and its hem reaching my legs. Everything else was exposed: shoulders, upper chest, legs, and just about anything an unmarried woman wouldn't show to the public.
