I opened my eyes weakly, catching the familiar ceiling of my room. My head throbbed painfully, and I winced, pushing myself to sit up. Aside from my throbbing head, my throat felt so dry I could die.
"You should rest more." I jumped when I heard Yves from the side of the bed. I turned my head on instinct, catching him sitting on a chair beside my bed with his arms crossed. His expression was grim and solemn, one thing I have never seen him wear before.
"Yves, why..." my head throbbed again with my finger zeroing on my temple. As it throbbed, I recalled my last memory. I was on the training grounds to meet Yves, but my vision shook and all I heard was Tani's yell.
'So, I fainted?' a shallow sigh slipped past my lips, thinking that this occurrence had something to do with my condition. Wait... I had been keeping that a secret and only Augustus knew about it. I didn't cough out blood, right? Or showed any signs of this problem, right?
