"Only the tenth time, you little shit!" Carlos swipes at Luke playfully and sits back. "You know too much, Bree. As long as I keep my amazing job, I do not care if you know."
Brielle sighs and places the empty cup down. "Thank you for the food. I will go to my room and relax for a little while." She gets up and stifles a yawn.
The two watch as she leaves to go upstairs. "You didn't?" Seeing Carlos cringe, Luke glared at him before going to watch Brielle.
Brielle made it up the stairs and groggily made it to the room, where she collapsed on the bed. Brielle wound up sleeping the rest of the day and night away. She woke up around ten in the morning and heard the two yelling at each other. She sleepily walked down the stairs and looked at the two. "Good morning. How long did you put me out for, Carlos?"
Luke turned at her voice, ran to her side and growled at Carlos. "You were out for almost twenty hours." Deep in his chest, he growled at Carlos at the table again.
