Ryuu insisted that he would go along with Brylee and her sisters in delivering Grimaldi to the bondsmen. He said that he still has questions to ask the man. Brylee tried to persuade Ryuu the normal way because she refused to use her gift against him. She felt that it was unfair though he had been unfair to her when he left for three years without a word.
In the end, she still used her gift of persuasion with him but not before she asked him for the list of questions he wanted to ask.
"Your man is quite insistent," Briony commented.
"He is not my man," Brylee replied in an edgy tone. She is a nosy person but she could not stand it when Briony is being nosy, especially with her love life. She glared at her sister who was sitting beside Grimaldi. As usual, she is the one driving the SUV, but this time, Bianca is beside her.
"Have you talked?" She heard Brina who was sitting in the back seat ask.
