"Thank you, Dr, Villan. I really hope this will work because I do not think I can afford surgery," The eyes of the woman in front of her wrinkled as she smiled kindly at her. She is in her early sixties but due to hardships of life and poverty, she looked ten years older. Her hair is white, and her face and hands are wrinkled. She was having a hard time reading but the lack of money didn't give her the privilege to buy glasses to see clearly.
Brina finished writing the prescription. She raised her head at the old woman and smiled. She put down her pen and reached out for the woman's hands that were clasped on her table and squeezed them.
