"Which part?" Briony asked in confusion.
"I didn't gather that information because I was planning to...take you," What does he mean by that? Briony asked herself. Why would he gather that information about her if it wasn't for his plan to abduct her?
"Then why?" She asked instead.
Dr. Aldrich just shrugged his shoulders, making Briony annoyed.
"What else do you know?" She asked in the hope that he would give her the right answer.
"That your brother-in-law and sister were undercover inside Project Regnum or that you have the ability to…" Dr. Aldrich trailed while his eyes traveled to the corner of the room where there was a camera.
Briony understands. It seems that Dr. Aldrich really knows about her ability to heal which was told to him by Sam. It was the only thing he knows and he doesn't know about her sisters. But he cannot bring himself to say the words because there is a surveillance camera inside the room.
