"Oh, gosh, Brina, turn off the lights," Briony groaned when she tried to open her eyes and was immediately assaulted by the bright lights. She instantly closed her eyes and brought her hands to shield her eyes from the lights.
That's when she felt the cold and heavy metal wrapped around her wrist. She scrunched her forehead wondering why she was wearing a thick and heavy bracelet in sleep.
Briony once again tried to open her eyes. This time, the bright lights were more tolerable than when she opened her eyes the first time. She squinted a couple of times until her vision cleared, the first thing she noticed was the unfamiliar room.
She looked around and she was indeed in an unfamiliar room. "Brina," She unconsciously called as she looked around. Except for the bed where she is laid, there is nothing else in the room.
