"Congratulations again, Sweetheart," Daniella hugged Brina tightly as they all gathered in the dining room of the Villan's house.
Bell and Brylee came home along with their husbands as well as Lorcan and Lydia with the twins that were now three times their size.
"Thanks, Mom," Brina smiled sweetly at Daniella, making the latter almost well up. It has been months since Brina lost the spark in her eyes to the point that they thought that they already lost the Brina they know for good.
Thankfully, as time went by Brina seemed to have moved on but once in a while, they would still see her staring blankly. The sadness in her eyes was still there but she was always quick to hide it.
Brina knew that her family had been worried about her and though it was hard, she tried to become better. She knew that internally, she was still broken and it would take time to fix her. But for her family, she would try.
