"Hey," Brina called while holding a couple of books in her chest. She looked back where their car was and found Briony already getting in but not before she waved a hand at her. She smiled back.
She turned her head and found Luc already facing her with a wide grin on his face. "Hey, princess," He said and then walked around his car where he was leaning earlier. As soon as he reached her, he took the books from her hand, placed them on the roof of his car, and then he pulled Brina into a tight hug.
"Damn, I missed you so much," He said on the top of her head.
Brina giggled. "It was only two days, Luc." She said though it felt longer than that. She returned the hug by circling her now empty arms around his waist.
"Only two days?" He exclaimed and tightened his arms around her. "Damn, princess, it felt like a lifetime!"
