"Cree Henris," Brylee called and the man they were following eventually stopped and turned to look back at them.
They didn't even get to reach the dike because a few minutes after they left the base, Brina informed them that Cree had started to walk away from there and had taken his beat-up truck. For a man who knows how to dress well despite his troubling history and background, he sure knows how to pick a car.
But if there is anything that describes who Cree Henris is, it would be his truck. It was a model from a few years back but it looks like it has been through a lot. There were dents on all sides and it was apparent that it didn't get the privilege to have a trip to a casa.
By the looks of it, it seems that it has already taken a life or witnessed Cree take a life. Cree must have even used the truck to transport them to their final resting place.
