Ryker: MOVE!!!
Ryker and Hera immediately dash out of the way as a massive Ice Spear bashes through the wall behind the couch they sat on.
Ryker immediately chants the incantation for Earth Hammer and grabs Hera, as the attack is about to launch he points it at the floor and crushes the ground beneath them dropping them into the apartment below. Right after this quick thinking he shouts "NOW." Hera uses a double barrier. Hera being a Witch level Ice mage specifically, she chants Icy Prison and a thick barrier of Ice appears between the two teenagers and the Cloaked man outside the apartment building. Right as the Cloaked man prepares to launch it's attack again Ryker shouts with all his power and fury to keep her barrier up with his mana supporting it. It's not enough though and the ice begins to melt and crack, while this is happening Hera realizes that there is a family behind them inside the apartment. Once Ryker realizes it as well he draws his trump card. "I CAN'T LET THIS HAPPEN!" He screams at the Cloaked man as he sends his strongest attack at the man, Prevailing Stream! This attack effort misses its target by a narrow margin but confuses the man since Ryker shouldn't have been able to attack him through the crystal barrier. Just as he thinks this to himself he looks up and sees Ryker high up in the sky charging another attack but this time he shouts.
Ryker: I got this one from an old friend of mine. ShockBurst!
This attack hits the man in the face and knocks him down to the bottom floor of the apartment building. As Ryker falls he uses his Intervention of Wind Spear to shift his momentum sideways right before he hits the ground. Hera lands behind him but Ryker tells her not to worry as he has this under control.
Ryker: This guy may have tons of Mana in his storage but he can't dodge at all.
As the dust clears it reveals the cloaked man standing over a cracked asphalt road.
Cloaked man: Heh, that was a pretty smart move.
Ryker: Thanks, I gotta admit you're pretty damn tough too, But believe me if the guy who taught me that spell had hit you with it you'd be more than just a little bruised.
As the two stare each other down they express their respect for the other's expertise, then suddenly the cloaked man speaks in a strange tone.
Cloaked man: I think it's time we finished this, Don't you agree?
Ryker: Yeah I do, it's a real shame though you seem like a pretty cool dude and your strong as hell, would have been nice to be friends with you instead of being an enemy.
Cloaked man: Sorry but I don't make friends with Knock off Angels.
Ryker: Huh?
Cloaked man: Haaaaaaa!
As the battle commenced it was quite clear from the start where this battle was headed, Ryker was much quicker than his opponent and far more skilled in hand to hand combat.
As the two warriors clashed over and over Ryker came up with an interesting plan to this unfavorable situation.
Cloaked man: Hell's Wrath!!
Ryker: Warlock level magic! No way I block that!
As he said this to himself he again realized that his back was to the apartment building which had at least 4 people inside.
Ryker:: Damn it all!!
At that moment his Intervention reacted to his desperation. HAAAAAAAAAAA!
Ryker: Nice Try huaaaaaaagh
Ryker spins around and pushes the blast to his left side right as he is overtaken by this all powerful attack. Ryker's Mana covers his body with Wind magic and a white aura, by doing this he was able to spin the attack up and away from him and the apartment building… almost.
Boooooom
Ryker: No! I just got that place!
Cloaked man: wha how did he-
Ryker: There we go, that should have been enough time.
Cloaked man: what?
Piercing Rain!!
Turns out Hera wasn't just sitting back and watching, she was charging all her mana into one of her Advanced spells.
As a barrage of small but very sharp ice crystals were sent flying at the Cloaked man he had no time to dodge, he was struck with several crystals, Immediately immobilizing him.
Ryker now looking down onto his opponent asks him...
Ryker: Why did you attack me.
Cloaked man:...
Ryker: Ughhh, Listen hear dammit, Killing me is one thing but having no concern for the innocent people around you, what the hell is wrong with you! That is a child over there. You see her, she could have died. Then what huh?
Cloaked man:...
Ryker: I'll let the sages deal with you.
As he states this the authorities arrive and take the Cloaked man into custody.
Shortly after the Authorities finish questioning (more like interrogating) they allow Yurie and Hera to see Ryker.
Yurie: Are you ok? Did you get hurt?
Hera: He's fine.
Yurie: I asked him , not you.
Ryker: I'm perfectly fine just burned my hands a bit that's all.
Hera: and your face is covered in blood.
Ryker: Glares at Hera*
Yurie: You better be, we still have plans
Ryker: Huh?
Yuri: So help me god if you forgot.
Ryker: Oh yeah that's right the thing with Kiyoshi and his dad.
Almost as if they had called him, Kiyoshi appears next to them.
Kiyoshi: yo
Ryker: you're Telepathic I swear.
Kiyoshi: Pretty sure my sister's the only one that can do that.
The 4 of them talked about what had just happened for a while and during this time, the authorities were stopping the fire from spreading. Needless to say, Hera jumped in to assist.
