"How sure are you?" Yoon's voice was cold, and that sent shivers to Min's spine. "Are you sure that she wanted to travel with you along? Do you think she wanted to do all of this? Do you think that she would want to see your faces now that she knew that the king deceived her for becoming a sacrifice?"
Min did not say anything. Yoon's words hit him deeply again like a knife.
Was it a selfish thing to do for them to care about her?
Did she not want to meet them and explain their side of the story?
Did she already forget that he wanted to protect her as much as she tried to protect him as well?
It might be. The high priestess must have been angry with him and with anyone. She was just an ordinary person who got dragged by the king's selfish desires after all.
She did not deserve any of this.
