Song Yuna was inside her chamber. No palace maids or any servants guided her to change her clothes. She was the one who did it for herself. She was still wearing Min's jeogori as if it was her bathrobe.
It was loose and comfortable at the same time, but she felt breezy. She realized that she was not wearing any underwear. One palace maid washed her bra and panties with her see-through cropped top shirt and leather jeans.
As a self-proclaimed future fashion icon in this era, and even if she had to keep wearing one pair of clothing, she would never wear the same old traditional clothing ever.
It is not really that she hated it, but wearing it in summer is hot. And she would feel like she was a chicken being roasted in charcoal.
As she took off her bathrobe, she immediately wore her undies in a flash, then her black leather jeans and black see-through cropped top. Sadly, she could not see any of her beautiful figures because no full-body-sized mirror was available.
Yuna was having a hard time buttoning her jeans, maybe because she was bloated and ate many dumplings yesterday. Of course, dumplings are made up of flour, and some other useless carbs went into her belly.
She knew she had to restrain from having many carbs focus more on lean meat and vegetables instead.
As she finished wearing her clothes, she went to slide the door open. Instead of seeing Min, she was greeted by the head of the palace maid.
The head of the palace maid looked at the ground first and bowed her head slightly as a sign of respect to the High Priestess, "Lady Song Yuna, I am Palace Maid Hong, and I am here to guide you in your—" She paused and ran her gaze from Yuna's foot up to her waist. Her eyes widened in shock the more her gaze went higher.
The head of the palace maid almost got a heart attack when she met eyes with the young lady. She held the back of her neck, and her knees weakened. The other palace maids came to support their team's head without even daring to look at the high priestess.
"Why? What's wrong?" Yuna asked. "I know that I have a pale, dewy and moisturized skin with the rosewater bath I had earlier, but my beauty does not resemble a ghost, right?"
Palace Maid Hong managed to get herself a grip as she continued to hold the back of her neck using her right hand, and the other palace maids grabbed her free arm. She exhaled sharply and said, "What kind of clothing are you wearing, High Priestess?! That is so immoral and disgusting!"
It seemed like the palace maid said something that pricked Yuna's nerve.
"W-what?" Yuna snorted as she put both of her hands on her waist. "Did you just say my clothes are immoral and disgusting?!"
All the palace maids dropped their knees on the floor and bowed down their heads. The tension rose, and Yuna did not give a thing anymore. One thing that she hated the most is when people were commenting about her style.
The head palace maids looked around and discovered that everyone aside from her already dropped their knees, but it seemed like she was firm with what she said and retorted back, "Yes, Lady Song. I just said that your clothes are immoral and disgusting! How can a woman show that much skin, in general?!"
"This is my fashion statement, okay?" Yuna replied. "Showing this much skin is okay! It's not like I am in the Joseon era—"
Yuna could not continue what she was about to say.
Well, it was true. She was not in Joseon, the usual 1500's onwards era. She was in a period where it was in 500 AD. Of course, showing skin was something looked down upon.
But who was she?
She was Song Yuna, and she believed that fashion is the most important thing in the world. There was no way that she would wear those long clothes again.
"Anyways! I do not care, I will wear this and no one can stop me!"
"High Priestess," Palace Maid Hong called her name out of desperateness. "You definitely can not wear these clothes!"
Annoyed with everything, Yuna just stuck out her tongue and immediately fled the scene, running straight ahead without even looking back.
She could hear the Palace Maid shouting her name from afar. Before the palace maids could come and find her, she used all of her strength and ran around.
Having nothing for breakfast, Yuna was sure that exercising like this would make her bloated stomach disappear.
Where could Min have gone?
Did he go to his chamber and look for another jeogori because Yuna took his?
That would make sense.
The thing was, she did not even know where Min's chamber was, so she realized that she had no choice but to evade the palace maids for the time being. She kept on running and running until she found herself outside of the never-ending hallways.
She found herself walking towards something that looked similar to the palace's backyard. The palace's backyard was so big that it had several small houses built.
A particular smell caught Yuna's attention. It smelled just like her favorite kimchi jeon, a fermented Nappa cabbage mixed with flour and water and deep fried after.
Her legs guided her to a certain open space that looked concrete. It seemed like a place where public officials have some tea and discuss matters. Yuna did not forget to bring her phone with her. She did not even look around. Her focus just went into the kimchi pancake that was being served on the table.
"That really looks delicious!" Yuna said as she could hear her stomach grumbling. There was a long table in front of her, and she "Can I just have one piece of that kimchi pancake?"
Yuna realized that she was standing at the edge of the table. Looking to her right, she saw the Crown Prince munching beside her. And when she looked to her right, she saw eight different noble-looking men wearing expensive silk clothes.
But her gaze fell at the food on the table again. The food was the only thing she could see. She gulped at the sight of those colorful rice cakes, dumplings, and her favorite kimchi pancakes!
"High Priestess," The crown prince spoke; his eyes were smiling at her with elegance. "Do you want to join us in our small banquet?"
