Shortly after Danny raced out of the building with Triss in his arms, Sofia's attention shifted from a piece of paper with math equations to the entry of the building. She wondered what had happened since Danny was running super fast, so she got up to check, but Danny was long gone when she pushed open the door.
With a confused expression, she closed the door and returned to do the homework provided by her parents. Even if this was a different world, and this was an apocalypse to a degree, Sofia still needed to learn the basics of mathematics. After all, she was going to return home and go to school.
So they did not want to fall behind. Surprisingly, Sofia was willing to learn and did not throw a fit. Juan and Catalina wondered if this place was affecting their daughter's maturity levels but decided not to question it. It wasn't like they were trying to teach her anything super hard, and they figured she wanted to learn so as not to fall behind.
