Vermillion and Tiamat, the two draconic entities, stared each other down from a mild distance. Not too far, yet not too close either. Rebecca and Henry were confused about what was going on, just as the others were. "Vermillion, what is going on?" Rebecca called out to him since she wanted answers.
"Stay put. Tiamat is not someone you people can handle." Vermillion remarked without breaking eye contact with Tiamat. His eyes began to glow a solid crimson as flames slowly began to flare out from his body. The scales along his neck, cheek, and temples grew out, as did the scales along his arms and legs.
"Stay put? Tiamat? What is going on, Vermillion?" Rebecca called out once more, which caused Tiamat to shift her eyes towards Rebecca. Not even a second later, she appeared in front of Rebecca, followed by a loud thunderous boom, a fist launched for Rebecca's fast as the draconic woman held a look of annoyance.
