It was dark, the lights were off, but groaning could be heard as someone shuffled around in a bed. His eyes slowly opened, adjusting his vision so he could see. He felt numb as if his body hadn't moved in days. His muscles were stiff since they hadn't been worked in days. But he managed to sit up, only to find himself in the bed in a medical bay.
"So, I survived." Noah murmured. He looked at his arms and hands then looked toward his chest. His torso was wrapped in medical bandages, but he could feel the stitching that was done on his chest. It was one of the few things he could feel, aside from thirst, and hunger. He licked his chapped lips as he looked around once more.
On the table beside him, he found a bottle of water. Noah took the water bottle with struggle, but he managed after some moments. When it came to turning the cap, he struggled some more but managed, and then he was finally able to drink the water.
