Lilly was lying on the bed in her room. Everyone was allowed a room to stay in during their time here. Many rooms were available because of the vacancy of each room. Even though many people were slaughtered during the siege, the deceased's belongings were removed and placed into caskets with the dead. So, the rooms were free of personal belongings. It still left a bad taste in their mouth since they felt like they were intruding...
...well, except for Jake and Miranda.
Regardless, everyone was happy that they could finally sleep on an actual bed and have their own rooms. It was a refreshing change of pace compared to being stuck on a bus and clumped together with little to no privacy whatsoever. Nevertheless, Lilly was lying on her bed as she stared at the brown ceiling.
