Rebecca, Ryan, and Dillian left first thing in the morning. Of course, they were the first to wake up. They wasted no time and went straight to work. After all, this was a matter of life and death. They didn't have a second to spare since they needed to be out of this place before nightfall. On the way, they began discussing the type of path they were going to make. They had several choices, but ultimately Dillian said it would depend on the condition of the area.
If a spot was too hot to the point where another geyser would burst forth, they would have to change the direction of the path. Truthfully, they wanted to make a straight path out of here, but they knew that was wishful thinking. There were bound to be some turns to avoid dangerous areas here and there.
