Ryan was surprised that Rebecca even remembered such a thing or thought of it as a form of reality. Perhaps in a sense, the dream they all shared was absolute, but only after the death of Ion and Jessica. In addition to that, it seemed like only the Assault group shared the dream since the HomeGuard group was never on the bus and in their little dream. Speaking of them, it seemed like they never had anything to input, so that they might have been asleep within a dream.
Regardless, Ryan needed to answer Rebecca's question. Even though he knew Rebecca would mainly likely never allow it, he still decided to tell her anyway. "Well, I asked Dillian to see if he could create some form of steamer system with those pillars of flames. A way to keep the flames to a minimum so we can pass through. I figured that just covering them up would be a bad idea since it could cause even more problems later down the light with pressure build-up and whatnot." Ryan answered Rebecca truthfully.
