The sound of heavy rain drowned out a lot of noise. Those in Henry's group could not even hear their footfalls with how severe the storm was. Sadly, the only other thing that was audible was the roaring thunders. The flashes of lightning brightened the skies and, in turn, brightened more of the area for them, but all they saw was the same thing: Ruination.
"What do you think happened to the others?" Tim asked since it was far too quiet for his liking. He never did like the silence. It made him feel alone. The silence reminded him of his solitude before he tried to become an outgoing person. Tim wasn't always your bright and outgoing person. He had to make himself that way. Even when people made fun of him cause of his size, even when people mistreated him due to his timid nature, all of it. The silence only reminded him of his home and those times since his parents were always working, so no one was ever home.
