Ion held Jessica in his arms; the world around him closed out as he focused on her lifeless body. All of the time they spent together, all of the memories they had, everything was flooding his mind. From the time they met where she nearly burnt him to a crisp to where this psycho chick pretty much forced him to be with her. All of their fights and everything they overcame, all of the times of their arguments over stupid stuff like the time they cooked for everyone.
Even their affectionate times and times of sadness, all of it entered his mind all at once like a roaring waterfall. "You promised me that we would die together..." Ion finally spoke, recalling one of the promises they had: if they were to ever die, it would be together. So that one would never live without the other.
