Isabella was approaching Ren from behind, no longer focused on Jack but purely on Ren. She had never seen these types of winds before; she never knew just how cold they were. The air around her felt chilly. Her senses telling her to find someplace warmer. Even her flames could not fight back the chilling bite. Her nose wrinkled to the scent of death in the air, and her instincts were telling her to kill this man now or run away.
She ignored all of these warning signs and continued to approach Ren. As she got closer, the black winds began leaving minor sharp cuts in her flesh, but she still continued even though she did wince in pain every now and again. She didn't want to stop; she knew that Ren was probably in even more pain than she was. Her beloved was suffering in front of her, and she wanted to make sure she could bring him back.
