Speaking of the crew, Boss also had some connections to Don. Aside from the casual outings, he often asked if Don wanted to box, or rather have a friendly spar. During their first-ever friendly bout, Boss invited Don over to his place. He already had a room set up for things like this. It was his practice and workout room. Despite the type of job Boss had, he was pretty well off. The only problem was, there were typically a few women lazing around in less than appropriate clothing.
Boss always told Don not to mind the girls, and even if he felt like it, he could have a go with one of them since they weren't any of his women. Just women he fraternized with and shared the place with, in other words, roommates. Don never once took Boss on his offer. Still, he did flirt back with the women that flirted with him, which rewarded him with a few kisses and inappropriate touches here and there.
