Don used his mutated Seed Power to accelerate his flow of time while creating a distortive field around himself so that way he could block incoming attacks. He even created a shield to cover Nat, Danny, and Triss. Usually, Don would end up slaughtering everyone on the spot afterward because no one could keep up with his speed.
