Boss darted in for a quick jab at Jake's open and exposed chest. To his surprise, his attack was brushed aside by a palm which pushed his fist towards the side, and quickly the attack was followed up with an elbow strike from the same arm. The elbow strike was aimed for the center of his chest, so he stepped back to avoid it.
Jake reset his position back to the neutral and relaxed stance he had early with a smirk on his face. "What the hell was that?" Boss thought to himself since he had never seen such a thing. Sure, he didn't toss out his jab as fast he possibly could, but he still put a good amount of strength into it. What was even stranger was how his jab was not only blocked by redirected as if being forced to follow the flow of a river.
