After Jake was given a tour of the place, shown to the many training rooms, offices, and rooms. They all settled in the mess hall for lunch. Ion and Jessica were on cooking duty, so they were busy preparing today's lunch. Everyone else sat at the large table, which was just several tables put together.
The mess hall was also renovated. It no longer looked bland and bleak but like an actual dining room. More so, it seemed fit for the rich with various decorations here and there. Even the lighting was changed, and some soothing background music was currently being played. Jake was extremely impressed by everything.
In two weeks, a lot had changed around here, but a lot also changed about him. Jake no longer looked like a young adult. He looked a bit older. He had a five o'clock shadow, and his facial features were more charming. Not only that, but his physique also matched. It wasn't sickly or lanky, but it still had that pale coloration, more so now than ever before.
