Something outside had passed through Don's detection barrier, which jolted Don with a sensation to wake him from his meditation. It was similar to a pinch on the skin but more so to the brain. This allowed Don to see several shadows wisp by since he looked out the window. He looked over towards Danny, Nat, and Triss and saw they were fast asleep like babies.
Don got up quickly and quietly. In his hand, a knife appeared from his distortion. Don extended his Spatial Distortion, turning the barrier into Spatial Awareness like he normally did for combat. Only this time, he extended his field of awareness, matching that of the entire building so he could tell where the shadows were going to infiltrate from.
