Josh used the time Lax was attacking John and dodging Jake's attack to set up his minefield. He placed several in the air and several on the ground and set them to only be hostile towards Ego, Avidity, and Lax. Just as he finished, John arrived and asked him if he had a plan.
"Yeah.. all done. Let's see him dodge this." Josh said and moved one from the air towards Lax, and when a beep went off, Lax was blown off his feet and stumbled in the direction the force tossed him in. "Whoops... almost forgot about you," Lax said, regaining his balance and looking at Josh.
"You are the most troublesome of the three... I'll be sure to take you out first," Lax said and dashed towards Josh, swinging wildly. At first, no one understood why he was doing it; however, Josh did and grimaced. Several explosions went off a few meters in front of Lax as if he were cutting down the mines; however, it wasn't like Lax knew where they were.
