Sitting in a white room filled with nothing but a leather couch and large plasma wide screen televisions that may or may not have had Netflix. Happened to be three siblings, each Identical in some way or another. All three of them had platinum color hair and striking blue eyes. Two of them were girls, and one of them was a boy.
"Brother... what do you want to do?" The youngest of three asked, the boy sitting beside her on the couch. She was wearing a one-piece strapped summer dress that was white with blue flowers on it. Part of her hair covered one of her eyes, but her expression was filled with anxiety and slight fear. This young girl was called Luna.
"I am not sure, Luna..." The boy sitting in between the youngest and the oldest of the three of them responded. He was wearing white shorts and a white jacket that had a unique mist style blue on them. Unlike his sister, his hair was short, so it did not hide any part of his face. "This has never happened before..." The boy added after a brief pause. This boy's name was, Xua. He was the second oldest of the three, the middle child.
"Do you still want to hide this from mother and father?" A girl sitting on the other side of Xua, the boy, had asked. She had a petrified tone of voice. She was terrified and frightened for her life. Why? She had just witnessed a mere mortal transcend mortality and massacre an entire town full of people, bugs, and undead in mere hours. Someone who had her fancy was now someone she viewed as a threat that needed to be dealt with. This girl was known as Nua, and she was the oldest of the three.
Nua was wearing a bold outfit. A dress, but one that was revealing of her thighs and cleavage. She had actually just come back from playing with some of the mortals when she saw what her brother had been watching. It was before even Luna had arrived since Luna was napping.
Since nine years ago, her brother Xua was infatuated with a man called Donathan Douglass. Why? Because this man had made a wish unlike any other. A wish that allowed him to rewind not only his time but the time of the entire planet. This man wished to go back in time, all for the sole purpose of saving his friends and lover; however, he failed.
Nua wondered why her brother was so infatuated with Don that she decided to watch him until the bitter end. Don had woken up in his apartment room in Gaia as usual but did not know anything about what had happened to him or his goals. So, he went through his second run without knowing the future, and although this was the second run, the same thing happened again. Don lost everyone and everything.
She figured the man would just give up; however, she was wrong. Don wished to go back in time and repeat this process once more. Once again, the planet's time was reset for the year, and once again, Don woke up in that room with April. She became invested in finding out if Don would make a difference this time, but the result was the same no matter what happened.
It was the same for the next seven more runs but on this run. On this tenth run, the unimaginable happened. Don died. He wasn't the first one in his group, but he could have been. It was odd and different. So much so that even their younger sister Luna wanted to know what was going on and why this man was so special to both Nua and Xua.
Xua was the one who explained to them what he did for Don and what had become of him after his death. Saying that Don could heal from all kinds of wounds and the only way to kill him would be to destroy both his heart and brain or the Mutated Seed before so. Due to this, they said he was semi-immortal. Since he could still die.
But now, seeing what he had done and what he looked like. They were scared. This had never happened before. Usually, someone was overpowered right off the bat, so they had their Mother and Father interfered or too weak to become overpowered. There was no in-between, no imbalance.
This example could be related to the Leader of the Rosario Group and his own group itself. They were extraordinarily overpowered to the point where nothing could affect them. None of their group had died, and they had been stuck here since forever ago. Never were they able to leave, lest they completed the task Mother and Father gave them.
As for The New World Government, they were the original mortals of this planet. They banned together to rid their planet of the creatures that the boy's family released upon them. They did all they could to try and recruit the people brought from Earth, so they could help restore Gaia to what it once was before the invasion. Yet, they were powerless. No matter what they tried, they could never achieve their goals.
Even after ten years, they hadn't been able to locate the boy or any of his family to bring all of this to an end. Why? Because they were always stopped by the Rosario Group. The boy's parents told the Rosario Group to prevent The New World Government from putting an end to their plans. Until their plans bore fruit, the Rosario Group would not be allowed to leave.
This was why the Rosario Group was stuck here. No matter what they did, they could never leave. It would forever be an incomplete task for them.
Yet, now there was one abnormality that none of them accounted for.
The man that was previously on the screen was now pitch black. The reason for their fear was that no one was capable of disrupting their surveillance, not even the Rosario Group. Yet, Don managed to do it, be it subconscious or consciously was unknown. It was right after they watched him eliminate an entire town of people, and it wasn't with his Timeless Flow that they knew he had.
His Timeless Flow allowed him to accelerate his own time perception, which seemed as if all time was halted. It was because he was moving faster than one could perceive. Yet, there was no sense of that. He just used his own strength and speed alone, not even bothering to use his Spatial Distortion either. Just a blade and a gun.
Xua, who was infatuated with Don, was not having second thoughts. "Maybe I should report this to Mother and Father, but could they do anything to him?" Xua's thoughts came from his mouth as he stared at the black screen like his sisters.
"Of course we should!" Nua exclaimed, hearing her brother, and he quickly looked towards her along with Luna. "This is not something we can handle. He has been the only mortal to ever reach you of his own volition. Even if he did it subconsciously, he could do it again, and then what? You think it'll be to talk. He'll kill you and us. We need Mother and Father to stop him before that!" Nua exclaimed with fright in her voice.
"Nua is right." Luna agreed, and Xua nodded after a brief moment of internal debate. "You two are right. Let's go talk to Mother and Father." Both of them decided to get off the couch and plant their bare feet on the white floor. As they moved a few feet away from the couch, a white door suddenly appeared out of thin air.
The door was dull, so it was nothing special, but what it did was another thing entirely. Xua opened the door, and the three of them entered into a bright white light that came from the door. As they did, the door behind them shut, and the door vanished completely.
The three appeared in a fancy lobby with a ritz Redwine rug on top of clear marble flooring and various paints and portraits around. Pottery here and there as well, but the most notable was the statues. They looked like various Gods and Goddesses of various religions, from Norse to Egyptian.
In the lobby center were two more statues, but these two seemed more significant than the others around them. These two statues belonged to the two Cosmic Entities that had been around since the beginning of time. Life and Death.
"Mother!"
"Father!"
Xua called out, and two people appeared from seemingly nowhere. One person came from a pure white mist. He looked like a middle-aged man who was healthy and handsome. Slick back snow-white hair and electric blue eyes to match those of his children. Wearing a pure white suit with a black rose in the chest pocket.
The other person came from a pure black mist. She looked like a middle-aged beautiful woman. She didn't look even a day over twenty-five. She was wearing a modest pure black dress with a white hair ornament to keep her black hair in a neat and fancy bun. She also had electrical blue eyes to match her children.
These people looked like the statues in the middle of the lobby, the statues of Life and Death.
"Yes, my child?" The man spoke up, seeing his children.
"Father... We have made a grave mistake." Xua said, although he didn't want to tell his father what he did because he feared the punishment, he also knew that it was best to inform his father of everything. There was no point in hiding something that would eventually come to light.
The man's brows furrowed hearing his son's remark. "Mistake?" The man asked while looking at his son. Not just him, but all of his children. He could see they had expressions of fear and worry on their face.
The woman would place a hand on the man's shoulder. "Now, dear, there is no need to scowl. Xua has come to us in his time of need. Has he never once came to us for aid?" The woman asked, and the man started to feel at ease.
The only reason his body was becoming tense was due to what they may have said. One of his children he stationed to watch over another planet had ended up mingling with a mere mortal and became pregnant with his child. Now, he had to clean up the mess that his daughter made, and as such, he was debating on what to do.
The three of them slowly calmed down thanks to their mother, who offered them sweet words and comfort. When she found it was okay for them to speak, she would allow them. "Now, tell your father what the problem is." She asked, and Xua nodded.
"One of the mortals on planet Gaia managed to reach out to me during his death." Before Xua could continue, both their parents were astonished. No one had ever done such a thing. Not even the problem group that they forced upon an impossible task as to never allow them to return home.
"What do you mean? Are you hurt? Who was this person?" The mother started asking several questions. She went over to Xua and began to examine his body and see if anything had happened to him. "I'm fine..." Xua tried to speak to get his mother to let him finish. Once she gave him breathing room, Xua decided to tell them everything.
"That man died and somehow reached out to me. I think it has something to do with the wish I granted him the first time. You see, he was the only one to ever make an interesting wish. In the entire ten years, you had me watch over Gaia and grant the mortals their wishes. He was the first one to wish to go back in time."
"Before that, he wanted me to bring back his friends and lover; however, doing so is impossible. As you two have told me before, once the body dies, the soul has nothing to return to, so it is collected by the Reapers to be brought elsewhere. However, instead of giving up, he wished to go back in time."
"I was wondering how I could do this. I thought of asking for your help, but I didn't want to impose. Besides, I know you two are extremely busy. So, I thought about it on my own, and when I came up with an answer. I brought him to my room and granted his wish. Since I couldn't just send him back in time, and there were no parral worlds like Gaia. I decided to just rewind the entire planet by one year."
"Doing so did disrupt the Reaper's work. So they asked me what happened and I told them what I did. They told me if I ever planned to do something like that again, that I should inform them. As such, I ended up doing so another eight times."
"You see, the wish was too powerful to be granted without creating a paradox. So I had to wipe his memories of everything, but I couldn't do that. The mortal mind is far beyond our comprehension, so I just blocked them out. Each time he wanted to go back in time, I repeated my work. Blocked out his memories and reset Gaia by one year."
"However... this is tenth run something that had never happened had happened. His Seed had become Mutated over the course of his runs. This alone is something I have never seen. It was new to me. So I became intrigued even more with him. The Mutated Seed Power kept his body alive by isolating the heart and the brain, and his spirit ended up in my room. I figured one of the Reapers would come to get him, but they never did."
"Eventually, he woke up and started to communicate with me. I felt I needed to reward him for doing something impossible and improbable. Still, before I could, he gained all of his memories. So afterward, I asked him what he wanted to do, and he told me to resurrect him."
"It was only possible because of his Mutated Seed. It wanted him to live, and because of that, he had become semi-immortal. I thought it would be okay. I thought it would be fine, but something else happened. A paradox was created, and the events that usually happened months from now started appearing out of nowhere. Gaia has become a hellscape like any other, and eventually, the world will be destroyed, but..." Xua stopped and recalled what Don had done to an entire town full of people.
"I fear that that won't be all. The man's Mutated Seed has far surpassed anything I am even capable of understanding. Father, Mother... I am scared. I am scared that he will come after us, and I am scared that he will kill us." Xua's eyes started to whelm with tears, and he dropped to his knees. Luna and Nua tried to comfort their brother, they were just as frightened.
The two parents listened the entire time, not saying a word. They wanted to get the entire story, and it seemed like they did. "I see..." The man said with a grim expression. "We'll have to come up with something. Perhaps we can ask the horseman to reset the world..." The woman added. "Ask my brothers and sisters?" The man seemed to almost scoff.
"Like hell, they will do anything. If they gain nothing from it." The man said. "We'll have to do this ourselves, but we can't create another Paradox. Otherwise, the other planets and the balance of the universe could be affected as a whole." The man finished.
"Then what do you purpose?" The woman asked.
"Send out a bounty with his name on it. We won't become directly involved, and it should allow the world's population to deal with the problem. This shouldn't upset the balance further. Although..." The man stopped. He didn't want to say it, but right now, he had doubts that anyone on Gaia could deal with this man that Xua spoke of.
"Let's get to work." The man said, and the woman agreed with her husband. This was a good plan, although she had the same doubts as her husband. If what Xua said was true, then she doubted anyone on Gaia could kill him. The only person that came to mind was the Rosario Group and their Leader.
The parents and their children went further into the mansion-like home and began discussing everything. Xua informed his parents everything he could about Don and his group. From all of his runs, and even what was going on now. The more his parents learned about Don, the more they wondered if anyone truly could handle him.
This man didn't seem normal to them. So, they decided to a background check by asking the lesser Escalon of entities what they knew, and a file came up. Reading over it, a dreadful feeling began to fill them. "He reminds me of you, dear..." The woman said, and the man nodded, but not with joy. Why? Because that made him suitable to become the next 'Death.'
