The very first person to meet me as I walked in through the door was Rafael.
I knew that of all the residents living within Andalusia Castle, he would be the one who knew what was going on and the fact that we were coming.
He wordlessly opened his arms and I ran to him.
We hugged without words for awhile and then he pulled back to look at me.
"Your face looks just lovely." His eyes winced at the rainbow of colors on the side of my head.
I grinned.
"It looks pretty bad. I know. But I'm healing quickly. The swelling has gone down by at least half."
"Half???" Rafael gasped. "You mean it was worse than this?"
Corwin nodded. "We nearly lost her several times."
Rafael shook his head and pulled me back into his arms.
"Welcome home, kiddo. We love you."
"Love you too," I murmured into his chest. "Is Papa and Simon here?"
