"So what happened after Michael left?" I asked, wanting to know more about my 100-year-old brother.
"The Mage Elites wanted to go back to the original plan of utilizing demon-assisted weaponry."
"Why?"
"They no longer wanted to be contained within Ashrya, a bubble world that was failing. They began to move groups of mages out of the bubble and into the area of Solero."
"At that time, I was teaching Necromancy at the Topaz Academy so Horatio Blackstone recruited me to follow them so I could keep an eye out on what was happening."
I gasped. "You were one of the professors at Topaz Academy?"
She nodded with a smile. "I'm not sure if you are aware of the inherent dangers of a demon-assisted weapon, but it is certainly a two-edged sword which cuts both ways."
At my nod, she continued.
