Gabriel looked away, not saying anything.
"Look Gabriel," I pressed on. "I told you I would support you fully, but I have to have something to support."
I shook his arm. "You have to do your part too."
He turned back to me. "Does doing my part mean I have to couple myself to those twins for the rest of my life?"
His blue eyes turned desperate. "Are you trying to extinguish my future hopes and dreams forever?"
I frowned. "How is bonding with two gorgeous creatures extinguishing your future forever?"
"How? Because I don't love them. In fact, I can't stand them!"
"And being with them for the rest of my life means I can never be with the woman I want to be with." His eyes were tragic.
"Would you be able to do it if it would save that many people from dying?" I asked.
