If Noah could not have enough money in time, he needed to do something else!
He had considered it already.
Although Iris was a bit annoying, her strength was useful, and her devotion and loyalty were clear to Noah.
Having finally confirmed that whoever he bit and drank their blood would turn into a Dhampir, Noah planned in converting more people.
…Someone with money.
But who could be weak enough to not be able to fight back against Noah's assault while also having money?
Usually, people with money are rather strong, as they can buy resources to grow stronger.
However, Noah knew of someone within his class.
Arthur.
Arthur, a boy near his age, was someone crippled.
Arthur lacked lost his legs, and no matter how much money his family used, they were never able to grow them back, even though the use of special Healing Skills.
Even then, he had joined the Military School and was training himself to become some kind of supporter Hunter.
Even though he was crippled and could not exactly move by himself, as he had an F-Rank Servant at his side aiding him on it.
Although he was very into his dreams, the students clearly did not agree with his mindset, and many thought that a crippled hunter would never be useful.
If it were not because of the aid of his maid, he would most likely have died inside a Dungeon.
However, this boy's conviction to become a Hunter was very rooted in his mind, no matter what others said, he trained every day his Skills, polishing them to become useful and help others.
Arthur was the perfect target!
Although he was rich, he could not fight back, and he was even crippled and bullied.
"Blood Progenitor, can a Dhampir regrow lost limbs?" asked Noah.
"…It would need some confirmation, but I believe it is possible, just like any Vampire. Perhaps, they might need blood as nourishment for them to grow faster," said the Blood Progenitor.
Noah smiled at his words.
"Oh? Do you have someone in mind?" asked the Blood Progenitor.
"Indeed, I am thankful that my school is filled with trash that bullies others, as many vulnerable people are seeking a change that I can offer in exchange for their loyalty," said Noah maliciously!
"Quite cunning… But I am sure that the target is not alone if it is so vulnerable and all…" said the Blood Progenitor.
"Indeed, his name is Arthur, and he is rather popular because of being a rich crippled kid that really wants to become a Hunter… Wouldn't it be such a good opportunity for me to do yet another good deed and give him his legs back?" said Noah ironically.
"Heh… Good idea, although I don't think you're getting to do this any time soon," said the Blood Progenitor.
"It might take a few days… But I will get it done, I have to find a good opportunity, and luckily for us, we are going into an 'excursion' of sorts in three days to the outside of the Sector D, the wasteland filled with mutated beasts," said Noah.
"Sounds like a good plan…" said the Blood Progenitor.
"Well, for now, I will meditate, I can't sleep even if I want to. After absorbing these Cores, my body feels like its overwhelming with energy," said Noah, as he sat cross-legged on the floor, closing his eyes as he breathed slowly, calming his mind.
Such a technique was something he learned by himself, he would usually meditate after long days where he got bullied and beaten almost to death.
On such days, he would often meditate to calm down his troubling and depressive thoughts.
Now that he was a Vampire and that his nature and personality had evolved, he found it possible to meditate even easier than before.
For a moment, Noah felt like the energy around his body slowly gathered around the Blood Core inside of his chest, which then moved the energy out, making it course through his body.
This energy was a combination of both Stamina and Mana, both energies that come from the Vitality and Mind Attribute Values, respectively.
The Blood Progenitor quickly noticed that Noah was doing something strange… and something that he did not teach him to do!
Just how talented was he?!
"This kid… how is it possible? He just figured out a way to Cultivate his Physique and Soul through the power of my Blood Core?! By using the Blood Core as a catalyst of his energies and then using it to send them back to complete the course through his body like rivers, he is actually… cultivating! Something that not even in my original world was widely known! This brat…!" thought the Blood Progenitor, he felt frustrated every time Noah grew stronger, as it made his chance to one day overtake his body dimmer…
Soon enough, he might completely give up on it…
And like this, two hours went by flying for Noah, who slowly felt this strange mysticism rush through his body.
When his alarm clock began to sound, it was already 5 am, time to wake up, have breakfast, and quickly go to class.
Noah opened his crimson eyes, as he discovered that his pale white body had turned slightly healthier, and his eyes went back to his original color, alongside his hair!
"What is this?" he said.
"Oh, that's the power of any Vampire… You can shapeshift your appearance so you can look like you did before becoming a Vampire! Although whenever you activate your Abilities completely, your Vampire appearance might surge," said the Blood Progenitor.
"I hope Iris figured this out as well," said Noah, he had planned to simply wear a very large hoodie and some kind of scarf to cover his face and head, but it seemed that it wasn't completely needed.
Noah rushed to the shower and took a warm bath, and afterward, began to think if he even needed to eat normal food anymore.
"Although you can drink blood for food, eating food should also be possible," said the Blood Progenitor.
"However, it can give you only some stamina, but you still need to drink blood eventually to nourish your Vampiric body," said the Blood Progenitor, adding an important detail.
"I don't feel any hunger at all, but I might as well eat a sandwich," thought Noah, quickly filing his empty stomach, and then finally moving to classes.
Many of the students walked around the corridors, talking, and even showcasing their fantastical powers.
Noah ignored them as he walked with a dull expression straight toward Classes.
For a moment, he thought that he might have luckily evaded his bullies, but that was not the case.
"But if it isn't Noah,"
"Hey useless, how are you doing? Gahaha…"
"I have some pent-up frustration, so why don't you let me punch you like you always do?" asked the leader of the three, the bratty Hunter who was the little brother of the S-Rank Hunter that brought the Blood Core into the school, Fernand Firebrand.
Noah could not help but smile at him a bit, although he quickly averted his gaze from him before he could completely burst into laughter, just knowing that he stole his precious SSS-Rank Core and used it for himself to gain such fantastical powers was insane, and revealing the truth to them would easily break their spirits.
However, not yet…
"Sure thing," said Noah, as he walked towards the corridor, and was rained with punches.
However, through Champion's Great Perseverance and his Vampire physique, their punches seemed to not hurt at all compared to the slashing attacks or the enormous boulders thrown by the Goblin Champion.
After ten minutes, the bullies felt incredibly tired, and Noah slightly smiled at them.
"Are you done?" he asked.
"Eh? Why…?"
"Has he gone mad? How is he not suffering on the floor?"
"Maybe this will do it!"
The leader of the gang, Fernand, kicked Noah in the face, although Noah only felt a slight dullness and nothing else, he pretended to be in pain, kneeling.
"Aaah… it hurts so much…" he said, although a wicked smile surged on his lips by playing it out, the bullies could not see this as he was covered in his own black hair.
"T-That's it!"
"Y-Yeah…"
"Well, let's go,"
As the three bullies walked away, Noah quickly stood up and walked back to classes, for a second, he realized that without the pain of their hits… everything felt quite dull, and not even threatening now.
It was all like an act, and he was just letting them live on their own fantasies… so he could break their minds and spirits later on…
Noah walked inside the class as they started, Iris who was in the same Class glanced at him a bit, her appearance had changed to her original one, which Noah noticed.
And then, Noah glanced at a blonde boy sitting over a wheelchair, with a beautiful maid with black hair and brown eyes at his side, Arthur, who was wearing a hopeful and diligent smile.
"There you are…" thought Noah.
