Li Wei sighed as he heard the sounds of his mother screaming maniacally. There was no reason. She was simply having another one of her outbursts. They'd been getting more frequent in the last few weeks. Tai Yang walked down the passage, looking over some notes in his book.
"Ah, your majesty. Did you want to see your mother?" He asked with a kind smile, as if he couldn't hear the shrieks from inside the dining hall and the sounds of the Healers trying to get her under control.
Li Wei twisted his lips. "I was." He said. Tai Yang glanced at the door and then back at the boy he'd watched grow up. "Wait here." He said. Li Wei looked at Tai Yang in worry. "Master Tai, are you going in there?"
"Just for a little while. I'll be out in a moment." Tai Yang smiled, stowing his notebook. "Be careful..."
