Li Jun's honey eyes flicked to Tai Yang's slender fingers after hearing the sound.
'Why did he…' He started to think, looking back at Tai Yang's face and then at the journal in his hands. 'What's in these books?' He wondered, barely suppressing the urge to reach out for one of them, there were around 5 or 6.
Tai Yang swallowed.
"You're d-done baking."
Li Jun met his chocolatey eyes. "Yes, I am. So will you tell me why you look so frightened?"
Tai Yang blinked a few times. "I-It's nothing." He said, looking away.
"Nothing? Then why are you so pale?"
"I-It's cold."
"No it's not, we even have the heater on." Li Jun pressed.
Tai Yang looked back at him. "R-Really Li Jun, it's nothing. I just g-got startled seeing you up h-here. I d-didn't hear you coming u-up."
Li Jun pursed his lips.
"Is that so?" He asked. Tai Yang nodded, not daring to look at Li Jun's eyes. His face was surely flushing from his lies.
