As their weekend passed in laughter, they went back to their works. William is busy with the collaboration. He has a meeting in a few minutes with the manager of Scarlet. She is going to be the new face of "FAMA"*. FAMA is a fashion company of the Valentino Empire. Mia is the owner of this brand.
It does not come under Valentino as Mia launched this brand when she was in college. Her father, Dominic Valentino, was aware of Mia starting a company. He is very proud of his daughter. She makes this brand without her father's help by using the money as funds that she earns while doing a part-time job. As it's started on a small scale, its main focus is to gain recognition among its customers. The customers whom this is aiming for are middle-class. Even now, its top priority is middle-class people.
After Mia's death, Steven is handling this company. Mia wants to merge this company with Valentino Empire when it gets stable, but before the merge, she died. Later, when William takes his position, he finally unites FAMA with Valentino Empire on Mia's birthday.
He was preparing for the meeting while remembering the day of the merging. There was a knock on the door to which he came out of his thoughts. William looked at the door and saw Noah, " Sir, they are here." William, " Show them the conference room I'm coming to." With this, he stood up from his chair and buttoned his coat. He takes a deep breath, leaves his room, and walks towards the conference room, which happened to be on the same floor.
His office room is on the top floor of the building. Opposite his office room, there is a corridor and at the end of it a conference room. William is wearing black office attire. Noah is following his boss's step with his secretary Kelly. Kelly is a mature woman. She has red-colored hair with natural eye color that complements her cute face. She's professional and has a crush on the man who is walking ahead of her. He is always there whenever she needs someone.
She remembers the day when she first saw him. She was here for the interview of her current position, and she saw him when he entered during her interview. He walked toward the person opposite to her interview and said something in his ear. Later, the interviewee left his place, and he followed him while another person continued the interview. While following the man, he looks at her and gives a small smile that moves her heart.
The second time she met him was the first day of her job. She always behaves like a schoolgirl whenever he is with her, because of that he starts ignoring her. Of course, their boss saw this and helped her. As a lover boy himself, he helps her. He knows how it feels when a person ignores you whom you like a lot. He locks both Noah and Kelly in a room. No one knows about this but later William told them when Noah complained about someone locking them in a room. William asks them to clear their misunderstanding as he doesn't want his assistant and secretary to ignore each other.
Later he told Kelly to be professional with Noah and don't show him that she liked him. She follows his instruction. Now, he ask her out this weekend and they had a fantastic date. William is happy for her and Noah. But this advice is not helping him with Sara. Whenever he feels that they are close now, the next second he feels that they are million times apart from each other.
Sara was mad at him from the morning. Reason? He didn't know. He tried to talk, but she was giving him a cold shoulder.
William opens the door of the conference room. In the room, Scarlet was sitting on one of the chairs. She is wearing a light green mid-length flared frock. Her hair is tied in a ponytail. Beside her, a middle-aged woman is seated wearing a professional dress. He comes forward and shakes hands with both of them. The middle-aged woman introduces herself as Miss. Grace.
William feels that it sounds familiar but didn't think much and started talking about the contract and its detail. Scarlet was talking to William directly, and not letting Grace butt in. She is getting mad, and it is clearly shown on her face which is seen by William. Scarlet is taking her decisions on her own. At last, they sign the contract and stand up from their chairs, and shakes hand.
When Grace and Scarlet board the elevator, William turns to Noah and said," I want a detail about that Grace." Noah give a confused look to William but he nodded his head and left. William leaves to take Sara out for lunch.
Sara is having a hard time. She had her periods and her patient is also troubling her. She is mad at herself, as she gave a cold shoulder to William this morning. She knows that it's not his fault, that she is having her periods today. But her mood swing. She is working when her colleague walks to her and says," Sara, your husband is here. " Sara looked at him and nodded.
Luckily, he comes at the right time. Her friends had already left for lunch when she is busy with that troublesome patient. She is starving. She walked out of the emergency room and saw William standing a few steps away from the door. He waves at her and gave his mesmerizing smile. Sara thought, ' This smile gonna give me a heart attack one day.' She smiles helplessly and stands in front of him. William, " Hi." With that, he bent down to kiss her cheeks. Sara cleared her throat and replied," Hi."
She wants to hug him but control her feelings. William said, " I want to take my wife out on a lunch." She smiles at him and nodded her head. After washing her hands, Sara comes out of the hospital and sits in the car. William drives to the restaurant.
Xenia*
Xenia is a new restaurant owned by Valentino Empire. This is William's choice to open a restaurant. It is launched after their wedding.
Sara wants to dine in this restaurant with William and wishes to try the delicious specialty of this restaurant. William led her to a private room, and as a gentleman, pulled the chair for her. Sara takes the seat, and after that, he is also seated down on his chair opposite her.
William asks after giving the orders to the waiter, "How's your day? " Sara replied," Don't ask. Today, I am having a worse day." William raised his eyebrows in confusion, " Why? " Sara, " The patient. He is giving me a lot of trouble. He is like... I don't know. It's just that he gave me bad vibes. Luckily, he is discharged already. And this p.... *she stops and cough*. William stood up from his chair and gives her water while rubbing her back.
When she feels okay, he sits back in his seat. He asks," Are you feeling, alright? ' Sara nodded her head. Before he speaks, a waiter brings their order and served them. They eat silently. After finishing, William pays the bill. They were walking towards his car when Sara said, " I'm sorry. I don't want to ignore you in the morning. It was just... " She again stops in between the words. She was wondering whether to tell him or not. But he is my husband. This is nothing to hide from him, she thought.
Sara," Um Actually, In the morning I had my .... my periods." And she left. Luckily, the car unlocked. William was standing on his spot still. His brain was processing. Whenever he is with Sara, he is like a slow processor. When he comes out of his daze. He opens the door and sits in his seat.
The whole drive was silent. When they arrive at the hospital, William asks," Are you okay? I.... um... mean it's not paining." Sara finds this cute. Whenever William stutter in shyness, it always moves her heart. This is a different feeling. A new one. Sara replied," Thanks to you. It's not. If you didn't come and get me out of the hospital to eat. Then I didn't know how to handle the pain because I was starving."
She opened the door but closed it like she forget something. William was silent all the time. She looks at him and kissed him on his cheeks and left.
