Lilian stared at Orva, a sad compassionate feeling touched her chest upon hearing about the loss of Orva's father. She was puzzled and had no idea how to handle such matter because she had no idea how it felt to lose a loved one.
"Orva? I… I… I don't know what to say." Lilian pauses. Gradually she summoned courage to draw closer to Orva and gingerly raised her hand to place it on her shoulder for comfort. "I can't say I understand how you are feeling but I know for sure it is a painful feeling to lose someone you love, but don't feel like you are lonely I am here for you, you can also talk to me."
"Thanks." Orva sniffed and blinked rapidly to stop the tears that threaten to fall. "I really need to hear those encouraging words, are you a counselor?" Orva asked and chuckled lightly at her own joke to brighten her mood.
