Sky grimaced but was saved from answering by the approach of the sandy-haired wolf demon, Kazu.
"Keigan," Kazu said as he glanced at Sky with uncertainty. "Syn is back, and he wants your report."
Keigan glanced at Sky too, "Fine, tell him-"
"No, in person. You're to follow me." Kazu began walking off.
"Excuse me, Skylar." Keigan said irritably. He got up and followed Kazu out of the dining hall.
Sky continued to wrack her brain about Kyra as she stared at the forest. The table began shining, but Sky's eyes were caught by the sight of a familiar group of people walking towards the trees. In their front was Keigan and Syn. Sky gasp and didn't realize as her food appeared. She was too focused on the people. They were familiar because they were infected. Keigan was in trouble!
Sky jumped up from her seat to follow them. As she exited the dining hall, the group of was dissipating.
