Week 6 Day 3 Ruken
Ruken morning, Sky was out for her run when the sounds of gravel crunching behind her interrupted her gloomy thoughts about Dain and Aven's standoffish behavior. She hadn't seen Aven since that time in the library and she barely saw Dain at all either. He showed up in class for attendance and then went to the library. Sky had barely gotten three sentences from him since he'd said he'd help her.
She ran to the right side of the path to let the other runner pass. Looking over her shoulder, she saw it was Instructor Drakkon. As he gained the ground beside her, he fell into step with her.
After a few minutes of running in silence, while he kept pace with her, she asked, "What are you doing?"
Instructor Drakkon lifted an eyebrow and replied, "I am running. It is an activity that people do for exercise or as a warm-up before doing more intensive training."
